LINCOLN - Bitcoin Depot Operating, LLC. (Bitcoin Depot) which operated cryptocurrency ATM kiosks, filed for bankruptcy last month and has ceased operations. Nebraska consumers of Bitcoin Depot may be eligible for compensation for outstanding funds.
What happened:
Bitcoin Depot filed for in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas in May 2026 and has taken its network of bitcoin ATMs offline.
Bitcoin Depot previously operated in 33 states. It held money transmission license number1886902 with the Nebraska Department of Banking and Finance.
